the best nuker in AB is by far the Me-E (with meteor shower), they can nuke non-stop, cast and recharge speed no ele can match, but unfortunately they won't share the build, so, if anyone has that please share share, thanks! I don't even know how to describe lol except we run around the map capping in high speed, nuke nuke nuke, sometime you can't even catch up.

By far definitely the best nukers are FC. Agree with you on that, although eles shouldn't be sad because they can maintain the powerful [Searing Flames] much easier.

[build prof=Me/E box Insp=9+1 Fire=12 Fast=9+1][Lyssa's Aura][Rodgort's Invocation][Liquid Flame][Searing Heat][Meteor Shower][Flame Djinn's Haste][Fire Attunement][Mantra Of Resolve][/build]

This is fun after the new update. The ability to spam without being interupted and not have to worry about energy. Mantra of resolve can be replaced by [[Mantra Of Flame] or [[Physical Resistance], or even [[Ether Feast] if you're not taking a healer.

Although, I have to disagree with the best Nukers being Mesmers. Elementalists have the ability to invest into a secondary to increase survivability, mobility and can take utility skills. Their damage is far higher than Mesmers, their only disadvantage is the lack of FC which isnt a problem if you play smart. Eg, not using longer casting spells with a half decent enemy ranger around.

Woldn't run lyssa's aura on that. Rodgort's is 8 sec recharge and everything else is over 15sec recharge. Better off running SH, teinai's and searing + energy management and other fillers. Those three heats are very common but they seriously clear a shrine faster than anything else.

Has it ever occured to you that you can stagger your casts so you always trigger Lyssa's?

Also, whenever someone casts a heat on me I lol and simply walk out of AoE.

DoT AoE isnt hugely effective away from the shrines, I'd much rather have Rodgort's and Liquid Flame to take out the nasty peoples who can actually move. If you'd like you can replace Searing Heat with [[Immolate], [[Smoldering Embers] that would give you some nice single player damage and allow for easier renewal of Lyssa's.

Sure, with this build as a FC nuker you can definitely say that.

^Ok, well you're entitled to your opinion. Would you mind posting a Me/E Nuker build which outdamages, outsurvives and outmobilises an elementalist? 2/3 would be fine.

Rodgort's is really good, only problem I had with the Lyssa's FC mes (just tried it) was keeping it up when you're moving in and out of small skirmishes and shrine caps. If it recharged slightly faster or renewed on any spell I'd like it a lot more.

This is where you get on about your ele . FC is a quicker killer. Damage won't matter if you have the right skill combination (by the time you cast meteor shower, shrine is half dead with a FC). Survival I leave to my party's monk and of course providing myself with a sufficient amount of health (~600) and obvious brain methods of moving out of aoe, kiting, etc. As for outmobilizes, as with I said earlier, by the time your nuke sequence is done my mesmer will be onto the next shrine and half way through it (ignoring capping of course).

It's just about speed (duh, FC) and dead is dead with a good nuke sequence (none of this flare, fireball, flare, flare crap) only faster obviously.
